“A change of plans, I’ll email you tomorrow,” is what M’s text said last night at midnight. Hmmm… I wonder if that means I’m no longer going to Asheville with A. So far, no email. Curiosity kills the Cat(alina). [Update, she's not coming this week means I don't go to Asheville with A so really the lesson is, worry is just interest you pay on money you never borrowed!]
Richard Wright died today. If you don’t know who he is, I wonder how old you are. Are you old enough to read this blog? He’s (was) a member of Pink Floyd. I’m kind of sad, but in a selfish way - because this means there will be no more Pink Floyd reunion like their last show at Live 8. I am glad I watched it live and I’m glad I have it on my hard drive. I remember it so well because it was the day before I had my baby, S.
Today I’m keeping it short because I need to dedicate some time to Quid Pro Quo related things. It’s time to focus in more, get a clearer picture of what it is that I/we do best, and put together some marketing materials. For a marketing team, we have nothing to offer. Of course, as a friend puts it, my work suffers so that yours doesn’t, but there comes a time where you have to get your own stuff in order. I think that time has come. Also, I have a meeting with John (Fetlife) at 5:30 and things to do between now and then. [PS: If you are looking for a good place to advertise, Fetlife is a good place to advertise!]
One last note: If you are an artist, a blogger, a programmer, an affiliate manager, a graphic designer, a content producer, photographer, a model, or in any way associated with the bloggosphere and you would like to be a part of my email list, please get in touch for details. You can email me at CatalinaLoves@gmail.com.

I don’t know if you saw it, but David Foster Wallace died as well…..the author of Infinite Jest- great book from a troubled soul, but a really good author and from all accounts, human.
Mark wrote a post about that on Youdopia.com actually. I haven’t read the book, but I’m surprised you have!
He gave the commencement speech to the 2005 class at college…..so I saw his speech and decided to read the book.
aha! Now it makes sense! Austin, you’re a reader! (Are you even old enough to remember Hooked On Phonics? Do you need the Cupcake Blog?)
I never had Hooked on Phonics, I remember the ads….I also never watched Reading Rainbow or Schoolhouse Rock :-P
Reading Rainbow was just weird, but Schoolhouse Rock truly did rock. Most of what I know about the Bill of Rights and Conjunctions come from Schoolhouse Rock! It was probably better than my high school.
The Electric Company was more my style as a kid. I was cool even then - too cool for Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers was weird to me.
I watch a lot of Barney these days. Did you know that you are special you’re the only one you’re the only one like you? There isn’t another in the whole wide world who can do the things you do? :)
