This Lolcat is For My Favorite Attorneyman, D - Have A Good Monday!

Seriously.  I’ve lost track.  I thought it was Monday on Friday and today I forgot it was Sunday until long after the Simpsons were over.  I am busier than ever, which is a very good thing if you’re someone trying to run a business.  Nobody wants to start a business and hear crickets.  In fact, we’ve got so much on our plates that we’re probably going to leave a few blogs dormant.  We considered selling the domains, but ultimately they are costing us nothing if they just sit there.  There’s no sense in getting rid of them.  In short, you won’t see much posted on MrandMrsKink.com or on CorsetandCollar.com, and you may have already noticed that I parked MommeDomme.com.  There just simply isn’t enough time in the day to take good care of them.  I do want to integrate part of MommeDomme into CatalinaLoves.com, but again- when is there time?  It’s a good idea to RSS feed to them so you get updates as they happen.

So this blog is really not a “useful” blog in the big picture.  It doesn’t have a motive.  I don’t really sell anything here.  I don’t really write sexy adventures or anything like that, but it is my personal journal in some ways.  I don’t write my really personal stuff here, but it’s a good place to sort of debrief at the end of the day.  It’s become a part of my bedtime routine that I enjoy - the opportunity to write freestyle without pressure to please an audience.  Read it if you want or don’t.  It’s not about readers, but just about writing.  How liberating!

So basically here was my day: Lochai, Trufetish.com, and Fetlife.com.  I slept in today - I went to bed around 4 am and I woke up at noon, the call that awoke me was Lochai.  Off the top of my head I can’t even really recall what it was about.  He is, of course, going crazy with wrapping up loose ends and moving to the other side of the country within one month and being ready to go to work.   I do have to say that I am pretty excited to work so closely with two men that I respect and admire.  They both have taught me a tremendous amount in a very short time.   I also enjoy them both on a personal level, so it makes working so friggin’ hard fun!

How does Trufetish fit in there?  I stayed up late and wrote my article to submit before the deadline.  How about that?  The deadline is the 26th and today is the (wait, let me check, I really don’t know) 25th!  Wow.  Big deal.  I thought today was like the 22nd and I was really early.  Not nearly as impressive, but it still counts. This month I wrote about roleplay.  You’ll have to wait until it is published on Trufetish.com to read it.  I’m curious to find out what people think about it.

So Lochai told me today to expect a package from Fed Ex this week.  I Love Surprises!  I hate them, and I love them at the same time.  They drive me crazy, but it’s a good kind of crazy, like when you were a kid and it was December 23rd!  It’s a good week for packages, actually.  I’m expecting a few!  It is so exciting!  I love just getting a card in the mail, a package makes me jump up and down with joy.  For real.  I love them.

In other news the-f-mag.com contacted us today.  They wrote that they stumbled upon Quid Pro Quo and were planning to write an article about our little empire.  Neato.  I’ll have to follow up on that tomorrow (today).

This week there is a lot on my plate - I have a lot of people to get in touch with, plenty to write, and I have raffle items that need to go to the post office.  I am giving all of my clothes that are too big to my neighbor so I’m cleaning out my closet, literally, not in the Eminem kind of way.  I think a lot of my friends are annoyed that I don’t have time to socially chat online very much anymore, but if I’m not incredibly disciplined about getting my work done, then it just adds up and freaks me out.   So to my friends, please just know that I’m not ignoring you, we’re just working our asses off right now, trying to make the Fetlife Marketing Department a huge success while we continue to work our asses off for our other clients at Quid Pro Quo.   This week that literally translates into working all day contacting various people for several projects, setting things up for various promos, having graphic design work outsourced, writing reviews,  and then working at night on a new blog for Sgt. Major and fine tuning Lochai’s blog.   I have the best job in the world.

Well, it’s 5:48 am, I just remembered that I need to set someone new up on the BestSexBloggers.com blog.  A lovely blog, Bloody Laughter, was personally recommended by our own Essin’ Em.   A superb blog.  I’m excited to see what she posts on BestSexBloggers.com.  Off I go, Chris Martin singing to me, to wave my magic wand and add a new contributor.

Lochai "working" at Hogtied.com

Life is very busy and I’m not sure how much I’ll get a chance to write.  This is truthfully one of my favorite blogs to write because it’s just the one where I get to sit down and say ” blah “.  What comes out comes out.

Today we officially became the marketing department for FetLife.com, which is exciting!  Marky is really the genius at it.  I talk to people.  I’m good at networking.  He’s good at actually making the deals in the dunes.   Between the two of us we’re a great team.  We think in such different ways that what seems obvious to me wasn’t to him and vice-versa.   You can advertise through FetLife.com by contacting me (catalina@fetlife.com) or Mark (mark@fetlife.com).

Also big announcement today from Lochai.  He was offered and has accepted the position at Kink.com as the new webmaster/director of Hogtied.com.  He recently went out there (to San Francisco) and did a shoot.  You can watch it here.  I am fortunate enough to have seen it already and I’m telling you - I adored Lochai before, but now I adore Lochai.  What a yummy scene.  That’s all I’m saying about it.  You have to see for yourself!

Another crazy announcement in my circle:  Audacia Ray is no longer writing The Naked City.  I know?!  What the hell are they thinking?  Sometimes I wonder.

In other news - I received copies of Rachel Kramer Bussel’s books Spanked!, Tasting Her, and Tasting Him.  The thing is, I think that Marky is supposed to review Tasting Her and I was to review Tasting Him, but I like both books!  Being bisexual means I get to review both :)  I need to get to work on reviews though, because I have a few books and movies that I need to give my opinion on - I know my opinion influences the greater society as a whole, and without it you will be paralyzed - do I buy the book or not?!  What about this dildo?!  What does Catalina Say?!

I can’t remember if I already mentioned this, but I’m writing now for Trufetish.com and I think this month I’m going to write about polyamory, feeding off of the two articles that are already there.  I’ve been on both sides of the pond, as a couple with a girlfriend or a boyfriend and also as the girlfriend of a couple.  It’s also a topic that I’ve been discussing a lot lately with close friends.

I am also writing now on The Femmes Guide.  It’s an interesting thing, the Femme’s guide, “a sex-positive femme queer collaborative blog”.  It was brought up the other day by the editor of the blog that we aren’t a very diverse group - that aside from one of us (me) we are all “white, fat, femmes with advanced educations.” This brings up the issue of me being an ex-fat femme.  I’ve been looking for a place to write about this phenemona - the loss of an entire human being (130 lbs. so far) and how the rules have changed.  The game is different.  I am not quite sure how to navigate through society in this new role.  I don’t want to write too much about it here yet, or else why would you bother to go there to read it, but I think it will turn into a nice article.

Well, that about covers everything I can come up with at 4 am.  I’ll be back in a few hours, at it again…

I am one of those rare lucky people who have to work 7 days a week.  Not because I work for the man, but because I work for myself.  Since I work pretty much every day, and pretty much all day every day, it’s a good thing that my definition of work includes chatting with Sabrina Fox, Priapus, and Lochai and writing interviews for Claire Adams, Sgt. Major, and Bobby Knight (ProPhotoTours.com).

Today is Lochai’s opening night at the WEAM.  It’s pretty exciting, and I wish I could be there to see it for myself.  I still can’t believe I am a genuine part of making that happen.  The best I can hope for is that he will call me when he gets home, even if it’s late, and tell me all about it.  I lucked out and got to talk with both Lochai and his amazing bride, Janice.  She’s so amazing, I can’t help but adore her every bit as much as I do him.

I spent the majority of my day working on the Week in Kink and The Good Things List.  Both were late, but I noticed that the world did not fall apart.  I’ll take note of that the next time I have terrible anxiety about not getting them done on time.  I openly kissed Graydancer’s ass in The Good Things List, because it was a deal we made on Twitter to get him on board with the bestsexbloggers.com project.  This wasn’t exactly our deal, just that I was willing to kiss his ass to make it happen, and this is the only way I know how from a distance.

I didn’t work all that much this weekend, actually - it was one of the first weekends I truly set out to socialize.  Not all of my plans worked out.  Friday I had a new workout - sprints with abs and triceps.  The Dude has decided that it’s time for me to step it up and … I can’t really disagree.  I’ve been running, but now it’s time for toning.  I came home from an intense workout and managed to go out for wine and sushi with M on Friday night and somehow three glasses of wine fucked me up.  Must have been because I was so tired.  I don’t know.    We normally eat out every Friday night, but he’s training for the NY Marathon and I’m still trying to lose weight, so sushi and liquid calories seemed more appropriate.  He had a bad week and so W baked a cake or him — I know, seems counter intuitive to give a marathon runner in training a cake, but he had to run 14 miles this weekend and the carb/sugar load helped him make it through and it cheered him up, so it served it’s purpose doubly.

Saturday I was all set to go out with The Dude for an evening of inebriation, his not mine.  He flaked out on me.  It worked out in my favor.  I fell asleep at something like 6 pm and didn’t wake up until about 11 pm, when I sat up long enough to say goodnight to Marky and went back to sleep until 9 am today.  Apparently I needed a good night’s sleep.

Now here we are again, the middle of the night - time for me to wrap it up and go to bed.  I’m frustrated as hell because I can’t get images on the static pages on bestsexbloggers.com and it better not be a template issue.  If it is, I’m lucky that JC will come to my rescue and fix it.

No graceful way out of this blog post - I’m just tired and it’s time to end.  Goodnight, people…  Oh and FetLife rocks.  It is 3:46 am.  Buenas noches.

How could it be Wednesday already?  It was just Friday.  I was just shooting the penthouse set with Altered Aperture yesterday, I swear.  How did this happen?  I was sitting here trying to recount my week so that I could convey it, because if there’s one thing I can say about my life, it’s not boring.  Just writing about my daily life is entertainment enough, and it’s the only place where I can just write and not craft.

We (Quid Pro Quo) started working with Sgt. Major and Backdoorbondage.com this week.  We’re pretty excited about that because we consider Sgt. Major a personal friend, so working with him has been and will be nothing but a joy.  I simply adore his girl, she’s the sweetest, yet filthiest, girl I’ve met in a while.

I have had a great time being involved with John from FetLife on a couple of projects.  I joined FetLife, became a greeter, and now John is someone I truly consider a friend, a genuine friend (You Rock, John!)  I can’t go a day without talking to him now.  I digress… One project was having banners made.  It started with images from Lochai (http://kirinawa.com) and the graphic design work of our Naughty Secretary.  It has since become an album of over a hundred banners submitted by FetLife members.  Banner selection is good.  You can’t really have too many quality banners of all kinds of flavors and sizes - people want to be able to pick one that goes with their site.  Now I need to write a little .html code box for them and get them on the banners page on FetLife.  The question is, will I put them up and do it or will John?  Again, I have no idea when he’ll have time to do it, but when he does, they’ll be ready!  In the meantime, I’m going to throw one up on my banners page here!  Link up to FetLife if you want to be associated with a very cool, growing, social network for kinky folks.

The other project was getting real FetLife members to submit images of themselves for the front page - the idea being we would rotate the images and link to the member’s site.  It has become an album of hundreds of images, literally.   Now I have to dig through them and select x number of images.  The implementation of it will be a bitch.  To keep track of which profile goes with which image is a bitch on my end, and I bet changing the code won’t be that fun for John.  Who knows the timeline on that project.  Right now it’s just collect images.  That I can do.  The upside for me is that I’ve written to several of the contributors and asked for permission to use their images on my blogs, so you’ll get to see some of the sexiest ones just because you know me.  How about that?!  See, you have connections, my friend.

I am more in love with my husband than ever, despite my desire (and his) to fuck everybody we are friends with.  He pulled off some pretty impressive shit this week and I’m way proud of him.  He also picked me up, the Princess Carry is what we all it in our house, the way a groom carries his bride over the threshold, and threw me on the bed and had his way with me.  That was fucking hot.

Fortunately, the timing is perfect for Tina Peitsche to start submitting things to Catalina Loves.  I posted a seriously hot tale of her first adventure with a gasmask and it was the first time I actually even considered trying it out.  Then she also submitted a kick ass review of a very good book, Erotic Signature Volume II.   Not only did I need someone to help me keep good content going on Catalina Loves while I focus more energy into our PR and Marketing business, but the book she reviewed contains one of Lochai’s award-winning images, “Curves“, so how could I not post it?  It’s Lochai related!  Of course, it’s also one of the best books for people like us to own.  All of the best erotic photography in a coffee table book with class.  Last year, Lochai’s “Beach Bound” was voted Most Erotic Photograph in volume I.  Did I mention that I adore Lochai?

There are a million other things to write, because I haven’t written for days - here’s the skinny.  There is still so much to do before bestsexbloggers.com can launch.  I joined skype and still haven’t used it.  I joined Twitter, and I’m psyched about it and I’m addicted to it already.  Firefox has a nice little Twitterfox plug-in that Curvaceous Dee taught me all about.  Now I’m a twittering fool!  Follow me and I’ll follow you :)

I have a thousand things to write.  A million more things to say.  Like I’m officially D’s Goobermilf, and I have to add a thousand different links to my blogrolls, and I am writing for Trufetish.com now, and also for IntotheAttic.com’s blog.  It’s good to expand.  I had a nice chat with my friend, what will I officially call him on my blog?  He needs a name.  I can’t use his initials - they are taken.  I’m going to call him TD (The Dude).  if he reads my blog, I know he’s clever enough to figure out why his name is officially The Dude.  We live five miles max from each other and chatted for hours online… neither of us wanted to leave home.  Now that we don’t work together anymore, we are real friends rather than work friends.

That’s got to be it.  It’s 5:30 am and I haven’t slept yet.  It’s not that I don’t sleep ever.  I sleep like 5 hours a night.  So MDS gets up with the kids, cause he’s awesome, and I’ll sleep till like 11.  Today is going to be great!  I’m going running with TD at 3:00.  It’s been a couple of days.

Life is good.  In a nutshell, life is pretty good.  Friday night I went out to dinner with M, my regular Friday night dinner with a twist.  Instead of just going to my favorite restaurant in Charlotte, we went to my favorite restaurant in Charlotte with Nikki and her girl, Mia.   We ate the most delicious dinner, had some yummy martinis and went back to M’s place.  M happens to make a lot of money.  I won’t say more, there’s no need to.  But he lives in a very nice penthouse apartment in uptown Charlotte, so we went back to M’s place to chill out and do a really nice “Penthouse Bondage” shoot.  Not only did Nikki get some nice images of me, but she also tied up Mia and took some shots of her as well.  M got to watch.  That was his reward.  He got to take three beautiful women out to dinner, then watch as Ms. Nikki Nefarious tied up Catalina in his living room and then later Mia.  He did say it was a banner day for him.  I’m sure that is true.  I was excited because Nikki and Mia are the first of my friends that I’ve introduced to M.  As soon as I get some of the images, you can bet I’ll share them with you!

Let’s see, what else?  I have been working on some FetLife projects.  FetLife totally rocks and I’ve become friends with the FetLife man, John.  We are working on a project to get some new banners and code, and also to get new images of real kinksters on FetLife for the front page.  It seemed like a small project, as most of the things I do seem, but it’s become quite an event.  I have to say though, I love it.  I also started a FetLife/JohnBaku Fan Club.   I always call myself the FetLife official unofficial fan club leader, and people thought there was a real fan club, so I made one!  Join up!

I finally joined the ranks of the cool kids and signed up with Skype and Twitter.  Now you can follow me around.  I’m CatalinaLoves on both of them.  Pretty obvious.   Curvaceous Dee finally helped me set up my Google Reader.  Yes, I’m that lame that I didn’t use RSS feeds, I just jumped bookmark to bookmark.   I’ve gotten to know her quite well and I really like her a lot!

W is finally home from Oregon, so for the most part our time has been spent balancing being parents and work.  Quid Pro Quo, our PR and Marketing firm, is doing very well and we have new clients that we want to work with, so we’re excited!  It’s now a balancing act of having a home business, writing, parenting, social lives, sex lives, friends, music, smoking out, running, meditating, and at some point eating and sleeping.

I need to, in fact, quit writing this post even though there are more words in my tummy because I just also started writing for Trufetish.com and I owe them a story and a bio and all of that.  I also have bestsexbloggers.com, which isn’t even live yet that I’m working on.  Oh My!  I need a secretary, a housekeeper, a nanny, a submissive, and a personal assistant (that wants to work for free).  Know anyone?

I guess this is as good a time as any to wrap it up and move on.  There is real smut to write.  Like how I’m planning a couple of really hot group activities…  that’s a post for another blog and another day!

OMG - I can’t believe I almost forgot to mention Lochai!  One of the best parts of being Catalina is having Lochai in your cell phone and getting a text that says, “Cum for me”.

Wow, it’s been a while, right?  Did you wonder what happened?  It was no coincidence.  I wasn’t in the hospital or even off on some amazing playfest.  In fact, part of our support of Lochai was to donate our prime real estate on our blogs through the 15th.  It was quite intentional.  But as much as I adore Lochai, and trust me, I adore Lochai every day (um yeah, he kind of figured it out), I have to write.  It’s just driving me crazy not to write every day.

So what’s been going on?  Wow, the world is melting down around me, yet things are better than ever.  Know how that is?  Like I have a friend going through a divorce, one who had to deal with her sister’s suicide attempt and also is shouldering the entire burden to now hold out hope as her cousin (who grew up as a sister) is fighting for her life at the Mayo Clinic.  Big stuff, right?  A friend I consider to be my lil’ sister was fired from her job suddenly.  She is the third of my friends to be fired suddenly and unexpectedly.  It really hits you in the gut when you don’t expect it!  Add to all of that that someone exceptionally close to me is dealing with childhood issues of abuse, emotional and sexual - it was a blessing in disguise that I didn’t post for a week so I could help my friends get through rough times.

Okay, enough of the Debbie Downer stuff.  Now the good stuff!

We couldn’t be happier that we are expecting two visitors.  It looks like an undisclosed, but very lovely friend will be coming next month to be beaten, to beat me, to be beaten again, and then maybe MDS will beat both of us and make us cum until our legs give out like the guy in the Gatorade commercial… you know the one.   While she’s here we plan to shoot with Altered Aperture, as well.  Both separately and together.  Who knows, maybe we’ll even shoot a video?  I’m also really hoping that the four of us will be able to get together with Mr. F and that she and I alone will also go for a visit over to see Mr. F.  So basically any way you can imagine having sex that weekend, we plan on it.

After that, in October, we are expecting an old friend from the past to come and visit us.  It’s not just about sex.  We love her.  She’s special to us.  We can’t wait to climb in bed together, put her between us, chill out and watch the Simpsons and just snuggle up…  but, I did tell her that I couldn’t guarantee that I wouldn’t try to fuck her and she did say, “Oh, Catalina, I’m counting on it.  Please do fuck me.”   Ok, I’ll give you a minute to process that.  Replace my name with yours and imagine it coming from one of the most beautiful women you know and happen to genuinely love.  …yeah, right?!   But wait, it gets better!  Throw Mr. F. into the picture.  What if just she and I go over to Mr. F’s house, on our knees in front of his magnificent chocolate cock and suck him off?  What if Mr. F comes over to our house and the four of us figure out all the possible combinations that four people can get each other off?  Well, really - that’s the plan.

Other news:  The site is not live yet, but we are starting a new blog project that will include the best sex bloggers I know.  Like people I can’t believe are actually wanting to put their name with mine?  Wow.  I am overwhelmed and moved all at the same time.  The amount of work in setting up a big blog where all of the best sex bloggers post in one place is very daunting.  We would be lost without the help of our Naughty Secretary, hereby known as NS.  Click on the postcard above to visit her blog! NS is the best.  I mean I love NS.  I loved her the minute I met her.  I loved her the minute I read her work.  I loved her more when I heard her voice!  She’s enchanting, and the best part of it is, she knows that she’s enchanting.  She knows every bit how sexy and smart and powerful she is, yet she has agreed to be our NS.  We have so much fun playing, texting, chatting, working, scheming, sharing secrets, and generally doing the girl stuff we would do if we were together, except for the sex.  Oh but if I had a weekend with NS…  I digress into fantasyland.  What was the point?  Oh yeah, the project.  So it’s coming along and the list of contributors is impressive.  I don’t want to give away all my secrets yet, so you’ll have to wait for the good part.  But trust me.  In my opinion, this will be our best blog project ever (and I’m pretty attached to Catalina Loves!)

Quid Pro Quo is thriving and taking in new clients.  Some of the people I’m working with on a professional level for their PR and Marketing are people that I admire.  It’s fun to do it.  I genuinely feel grateful that I enjoy my work so much.  I work a lot.  But that means that I spend my days talking to really cool people.

Well, there is so much to say…  but it is 4:23 am, and I’ve yet to sleep.  I’m going to wrap it up with this.  It’s not even a matter of insomnia.  I’m actually tired as fuck, but there was work to do.  The day was fucked up because I basically got up, went running.  I’m only 25 lbs. from my goal weight and I ran harder, faster, and farther than I’ve ever gone before.  I told my texting buddy, we work out together, that he just gave me an exercise orgasm.  Then came home and took a shower and picked W up from the airport and spent the evening with her and did a session later after she went to bed.  Sometimes there literally aren’t enough hours in the day, so you have to use them all.
